General Construction Superintendent

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Construction Superintendent to lead on‑site activities for high‑profile energy projects. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all on‑site construction activities for oil and gas projects.
• Ensure project quality, integrity, and compliance with client specifications.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet schedule and budget targets.
• Apply Wood’s in‑house construction management procedures and best practices.
• Monitor health, safety and environmental performance and enforce safety standards.
• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients.
• Resolve technical and operational issues promptly to minimise delays.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a Lead Construction Superintendent on large, complex oil and gas projects.
• Multi‑disciplinary construction experience with strong knowledge of upstream and midstream activities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large on‑site teams and coordinate multiple trades.
• Excellent understanding of quality, budget control and safety management.
