General Manager – Marketing & Advertising Agency

About the role

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our marketing and advertising agency. The role combines strategic leadership, operational oversight, and client relationship management to drive growth and deliver high‑impact campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall agency operations, coordinating client servicing, creative, digital, production, and finance teams.
• Develop and execute long‑term strategic business plans to grow the agency and enhance service offerings.
• Act as the senior point of contact for major clients, ensuring satisfaction and long‑term retention.
• Mentor, coach, and motivate cross‑functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability and creativity.
• Evaluate and improve existing processes to increase efficiency, reduce turnaround time, and maintain quality.
• Introduce and integrate AI tools for campaign planning, creative ideation, and workflow automation.
• Collaborate with the CEO/MD on overall business strategy and expansion into new service lines.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and P&L performance to ensure healthy margins.
• Guarantee timely delivery of high‑quality creative work, digital campaigns, activations, and brand strategies.
• Represent the agency in client meetings, new‑business pitches, and industry events.

Required profile

• Proven background in agency management with a strong track record of handling key client relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business plans that drive growth.
• Experience leading and mentoring cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong operational discipline with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven tools and their application in marketing and advertising.
• Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for client and industry engagements.
