General Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled General Technician to join our team and ensure that all facilities and equipment operate at peak performance. The role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and installations across a variety of systems while adhering to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and facility issues.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with other departments to support smooth facility operations.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Provide support for emergency maintenance and repair tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving capabilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
