Hard Services (Civil) Supervisor - Facility Management

About the role

Six Construct, a subsidiary of the BESIX Group and the largest Belgian construction company in the Middle East, is hiring a Hard Services (Civil) Supervisor. The role ensures that maintenance and civil works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality, while keeping client assets maintained, technical teams coordinated and compliance with operational, quality and safety requirements ensured.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day civil maintenance and hard services activities and ensure works follow approved specifications, procedures and quality requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor technicians, subcontractors and service providers, and verify proper installation, repair and maintenance of civil assets.
• Conduct routine inspections and quality checks, and raise and monitor corrective actions on non-conformities.
• Enforce HSE policies, conduct toolbox talks and site safety briefings, and ensure compliance with local authority regulations and company standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, facility managers, clients and contractors, and monitor work progress and planning and scheduling.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, snag rectification and handover, and maintain site records, inspection reports and operational documentation.
• Allocate work, support workforce development and drive productivity.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, maintenance or facility management.
• Good knowledge of drawings, specifications and authority requirements.
• Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• UAE driving license is mandatory.

• Sound knowledge of HSE requirements and local regulations.
