Head of Compliance – FX & CFD Brokerage (Dubai)

About the role

We are partnering with an established FX and CFD brokerage in Dubai to find a Head of Compliance. This senior professional will shape and maintain the firm’s compliance framework, ensuring adherence to UAE regulatory requirements while supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the firm’s compliance policies and procedures.
• Provide day‑to‑day compliance advice to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on products and services.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory obligations and licensing conditions.
• Conduct compliance monitoring, thematic reviews and risk remediation.
• Assist with regulatory reporting, correspondence and interactions with authorities.
• Oversee client onboarding and ongoing monitoring in line with AML, KYC and financial‑crime requirements.
• Support regulatory inspections, audits and reviews.
• Promote a culture of compliance across the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven compliance experience within FX, CFD, brokerage or related financial services.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE regulatory environment, preferably with SCA/CMA registration.
• Understanding of Category 5 licence requirements and ability to translate them into commercial solutions.
• Comfortable advising senior management while maintaining independence and integrity.
