Head of Sales – Retail Medical Insurance

About the role

InsuranceMarket.ae, the UAE’s leading insurance platform, is seeking a hands‑on Head of Sales – Retail Medical Insurance to lead high‑volume retail medical insurance sales operations. The ideal candidate has direct UAE experience, a proven record of scaling large retail and call‑center sales teams, and the ability to combine commercial ownership with AI fluency and data‑driven leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a data‑ and AI‑enabled sales strategy aligned with revenue, growth and profitability targets.
• Leverage advanced analytics and AI‑driven insights to improve lead prioritisation, conversion rates and forecasting accuracy.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Digital teams to deploy AI‑supported targeting and optimise campaigns.
• Build and optimise high‑volume retail and advisory sales models focused on efficiency, compliance and service quality.
• Lead large retail medical insurance sales operations, including inbound and outbound call‑center teams.
• Define AI‑supported sales processes, scripts, lead allocation logic, quality benchmarks and escalation frameworks.
• Drive operational discipline through dashboards, predictive KPIs and structured performance‑management routines.
• Hire, manage and develop sales managers, team leaders and frontline advisors, embedding data‑led coaching and AI‑enabled training tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) experience in UAE retail medical insurance sales.
• Proven experience managing large call‑center sales teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on revenue, growth and profitability.
• Data‑driven decision‑making mindset.
• Ability to translate market intelligence into actionable sales plans.
• Leadership skills to drive performance, compliance and customer experience.
