Head of Technology Management Office (UAE National)

About the role

The Head of the Technology Management Office (TMO) is a senior leadership position reporting directly to the CIO. The role serves as the chief of staff for the technology function, ensuring that the bank’s technology strategy is executed efficiently and transparently across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Operationalise the bank’s technology strategy into measurable outcomes, KPIs and governance mechanisms.
• Coordinate enterprise‑wide execution cadence, aligning technology priorities, investments and performance reporting.
• Maintain transparent communication and governance of technology initiatives across all business units.
• Support the CIO and senior technology leaders by handling stakeholder management, cross‑border coordination and multi‑entity oversight.
• Drive disciplined execution, monitor progress and ensure alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives.

Required profile

• 12–16 years of progressive experience in technology, program management and banking.
• Proven leadership experience within technology functions of a regulated banking environment.
• Experience operating at the CIO/Executive Committee interface.
• Demonstrated cross‑border and multi‑entity stakeholder management capabilities.
• Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent are preferred.
