Health & Safety Manager – Quick Commerce

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to lead the WHS team for its 3P quick‑commerce operations. You will develop safety standards, conduct audits, and support managers to ensure compliance across both in‑store and on‑road activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site visits to dark stores, evaluate safety conditions and provide risk‑reduction recommendations.
• Perform risk assessments and safety audits for in‑store, rider, material‑handling and equipment operations.
• Monitor, analyse and report safety performance metrics, incident data and leading indicators.
• Develop and implement safety controls, procedures and mitigation measures tailored to rapid‑picking and rider dispatch processes.
• Lead safety briefings, stand‑ups and discussions with operations teams and third‑party partners.
• Support investigations of incidents, near‑misses and serious injuries, ensuring root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Oversee safety training completion and verify effectiveness through observations and audits.
• Represent quick‑commerce safety risks in regional WHS meetings and drive continuous‑improvement projects.
• Hire, develop and coach the WHS team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of progressive WHS or environmental program experience in manufacturing, production or service operations.
• Knowledge of local regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience managing safety in both under‑the‑roof and on‑road environments.
