Healthcare Assistant (Emirati Talent)

About the role

Mediclinic Baniyas in Abu Dhabi is hiring one Healthcare Assistant (Emirati talent) to support clinical licensed staff in providing patient care support within regulator guidelines and in line with quality and patient safety standards. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide fundamental patient care under the guidance of licensed personnel
• Maintain and supervise central sterile supply items in the ward
• Uphold and advocate for patient rights
• Take part in intentional rounds
• Provide general administrative services to the unit to ensure effective daily operations
• Contribute to training and education

Required profile

• Diploma as Health Care Assistant or equivalent
• Experience in an inpatient hospital or OPD setting as a Health Care Assistant; UAE experience is beneficial
• Preference will be given to designated groups in line with the UAE Emiratization Program

Required skills

• Advanced computer literacy and functional numerical literacy
• Knowledge of CSSD basic functions
• Manual handling and general ergonomic principles
• Client service orientation and client service management principles
• Communication and interpersonal skills
