Paediatric Endocrinologist (Consultant)

About the role

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi is recruiting one Specialist / Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist. The main purpose is to provide patient-centred, evidence-based consultant-level care while complying with the ethical and professional standards set by the company and regulatory authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, professional and ethical clinical services to patients in an effective and efficient way
• Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Promote continuous professional development of self and colleagues
• Carry out clinical services ethically and responsibly

Required profile

• Basic medical degree and a recognised higher education programme (fellowship or diploma)
• Certification and registration in a specialty recognised by the UAE healthcare authority
• Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP)
• At least 3-5 years of post-qualification experience at consultant level; 1 year of consultant experience in a Tier 1 country is desired

Required skills

• Ability to support clinical clerkship training for medical students and junior colleagues
• Proficiency in an electronic medical record system
• Knowledge of clinical audit standards and processes
• Verbal and written English
