Hotel Mechanic – Maintenance & Guest Services

About the role

The Hotel Mechanic will respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems operate safely and efficiently within the JW Marriott Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut‑off valves; maintain inventory and requisition parts as needed.
• Communicate daily activities and issues to subsequent shifts using approved procedures.
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and other MEP systems.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. with vocational/technical background.
• At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and Universal CFC certification.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and mentor junior staff.
