Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor. The role supports the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments, keeping service delivery efficient and compliant with Anantara standards, while coaching staff and supporting special projects, hotel openings and events.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing the daily operations of housekeeping and laundry, ensuring efficient service and compliance with Anantara standards.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house areas regularly to maintain cleanliness, quality and presentation standards.
• Ensure operations comply with health, safety, hygiene and security requirements, and monitor compliance with SOPs and brand standards.
• Coach, train and guide new and existing team members, supporting onboarding, development and cross-training.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and external partners.
• Manage inventories of linen, uniforms, guest supplies, amenities and minibar items, and monitor linen, towel and uniform par levels.
• Follow lost and found procedures, and implement initiatives to reduce wastage and improve cost control.
• Ensure effective key control and support payroll and labour cost management by monitoring overtime.
• Foster a positive, motivated environment, encourage multi-skilling across housekeeping and related areas, and promote teamwork and communication.
