Housing Technician

About the role

The Housing Technician ensures that all technical systems and equipment within staff accommodation operate safely and efficiently. This position supports a comfortable living environment for employees at Rixos Al Mairid.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general fixtures.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, and equipment to identify issues.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimise disruption.
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance tasks and equipment servicing.
• Manage inventory of tools, spare parts, and materials, reporting shortages.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical, plumbing or HVAC is a plus.
• Previous experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in residential or hospitality settings.
• Physical ability to lift, carry and perform manual tasks.
• Reliable, integrity‑driven work ethic.
