Human Rights Compliance Manager – Social Impact

About the role

Join Amazon's Worldwide Sustainability team to lead human rights and social impact initiatives across the supply chain. The Human Rights Compliance Manager acts as the single‑threaded leader for complex cases, overseeing investigation, remediation design, and stakeholder coordination to ensure rigorous resolution and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of human rights cases from intake through verification, including audit findings, worker grievances, and external escalations.
• Assess risk, coordinate investigations, and develop remediation plans while meeting SLA requirements.
• Work directly with suppliers to implement corrective actions and preventative measures, including on‑site visits.
• Document comprehensive case records, maintain data integrity in case management systems, and contribute to standardized remediation protocols.
• Identify systemic issues, elevate trends to regional leads, and collaborate with legal, PR, HR, and sourcing teams.

Required profile

• Experience in compliance program management, audit, risk or loss prevention, with strong case‑management and issue‑resolution skills.
• Proven ability to conduct investigations, coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders, and communicate findings clearly.
• Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple cases within SLA frameworks.
• Willingness to travel for supplier site visits as needed.
