Inclusion Teaching Assistant

About the role
The Inclusion Teaching Assistant provides day‑to‑day support to students with special learning or educational needs, including Students of Determination, under the direction of the Inclusion Lead and Inclusion Support Learning Coach.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one, small‑group and classroom support to students.
- Implement accommodations and strategies from Individual Learning Plans.
- Assist the Learning Coach with preparation of resources, materials and documentation.
- Support students in accessing curriculum, completing tasks and developing independence.
- Observe and report student progress, behavior and concerns.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Special or Inclusive Education, Psychology or Child Development (preferred).
- 2–3 years experience supporting students with SEN or Students of Determination.
- Experience in a KG–12 educational setting (desirable).
- Patient, empathetic and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent English communication and commitment to safeguarding.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with educational technology platforms.
