Infrastructure & Cyber Security Manager – Hospitality

About the role

Black Pearl is supporting a leading hospitality organisation in Abu Dhabi in appointing an experienced Infrastructure & Cyber Security Manager. This is a senior IT management position for an experienced infrastructure professional who leads a large technical team, maintains reliable and secure enterprise IT infrastructure, strengthens IT governance and compliance and supports the organisation's cybersecurity objectives. The role is primarily focused on IT infrastructure, with cybersecurity as an important secondary responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the IT infrastructure function, ensuring availability, reliability, scalability and performance of core infrastructure
• Oversee enterprise networks, servers, storage, virtualisation and cloud environments, and lead infrastructure projects, upgrades and migrations
• Ensure backup, disaster recovery and business continuity arrangements are in place
• Manage enterprise networks (LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN, firewalls) using technologies such as Cisco
• Oversee server and systems administration across Microsoft, Linux, virtualised and cloud environments
• Support cybersecurity strategy, including vulnerability management, security assessments, incident response, access controls and identity management
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of about 30-50 IT professionals, and manage vendor and stakeholder relationships

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading and managing IT teams
• Strong hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and enterprise environments
• Practical experience in networking, servers, systems, virtualisation and/or cloud
• Experience with IT governance, risk management and compliance, and with ISO standards such as ISO 27001
• Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity
• Candidates based in the UAE or wider GCC are strongly considered; international candidates may be considered with relocation support

Required skills

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or equivalent infrastructure/cybersecurity certifications are highly valued
