IT Instructor (UAE Talent Pool)

About the role

The institution seeks an IT Instructor to deliver high‑quality theoretical and practical instruction in Information Technology and Computer Science at the higher‑education level. The role involves preparing course materials, conducting lectures and labs, assessing student performance and supporting their academic and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions and practical demonstrations in IT‑related subjects.
• Prepare lesson plans, course outlines, presentations, assignments and practical exercises aligned with the approved curriculum.
• Guide students through hands‑on activities covering programming, databases, networking, operating systems, cybersecurity and relevant software applications.
• Prepare and grade assignments, quizzes, examinations, lab reports and projects while maintaining accurate assessment records.
• Provide academic guidance, consultation hours, remedial support and feedback to help students improve.
• Maintain attendance records, grade sheets, course files and other required academic documentation.
• Participate in research, workshops and professional development programs as required by the college.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Relevant teaching or training experience in higher education.
• Practical experience with programming languages, software tools, IT infrastructure or technical platforms.
• Familiarity with curriculum planning, student assessment and modern teaching methodologies.
• Experience using learning management systems and digital teaching tools.
• Relevant industry certifications are an advantage.
• UAE passport and Familybook (Emiratized role).
