IT Systems and Network Administrator

About the role

Flatgigs is looking for a hands-on IT Operations and Systems Administrator to join its team onsite in Dubai. The role covers the core operational side of IT: keeping internal systems secure, accounting for hardware and giving the team the tools it needs from day one. You take full ownership from onboarding to offboarding, following strict security protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs), and act as the main point of contact for IT logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate, up-to-date registry of all hardware, including laptops, peripherals and high-performance GPU units.
• Lead technical onboarding and offboarding, provisioning or revoking hardware and software access promptly.
• Act as the main contact for Tech2Let and other vendors on hardware leasing, maintenance and procurement.
• Implement and enforce asset security protocols and data protection standards across company devices.
• Create and maintain SOPs for IT support, system handovers and emergency recovery.
• Manage secure hardware transfers between team members, wiping, inspecting and re-imaging devices.
• Be the first line of defence for internal IT issues, troubleshooting hardware and software problems for the Dubai team.

Required profile

• 3-4 years of experience in IT Support, IT Operations or Systems Administration.
• Proven track record managing physical assets and digital inventory systems.
• Strong experience developing and documenting IT SOPs.
• Ability to work onsite in Dubai to handle physical asset handovers and give immediate support.

Required skills

• macOS and Windows administration, including MDM tools such as Jamf or Intune.
• SSO and IAM platforms such as Okta, Google Workspace or Azure AD.
• Basic understanding of networking hardware and office infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Data security, disk encryption and endpoint protection.
