About the role
Apt Resources is recruiting a Junior Programmer for its client in Dubai, working on metrology applications, data processing, automation and software integration. The role suits a junior candidate with a programming background who is willing to learn and follow technical instructions in an engineering environment. It is a full-time, on-site position.
Key responsibilities
- Support programming activities for metrology applications using Python, PHP and Java.
- Assist with data processing, automation and reporting tasks.
- Support the development and maintenance of software interfaces and integrations.
- Help the engineering team improve metrology workflows.
- Follow technical instructions and complete assigned programming tasks.
- Troubleshoot basic software issues and assist with application testing.
Required profile
- Basic knowledge of programming, preferably in Python, PHP and/or Java.
- Relevant education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development or a related field.
- Willingness to learn and follow technical instructions.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Dubai.
