About the role
NIGM LLC is seeking a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer in Abu Dhabi to work on both permanent and temporary buildings. The role covers HVAC, piping, firefighting systems, hydraulic calculations and mechanical design coordination.
Key responsibilities
- HVAC load calculations, ESP calculations and pump head calculations
- Hydraulic calculations for fire-fighting systems
- Chilled water network design and balancing
- Pipe sizing, duct sizing and equipment selection
- Mechanical system design for temporary buildings
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10-15 years of experience in permanent building design and 5+ years in temporary building design
- Thorough knowledge of HVAC, piping and fire-fighting systems across diverse building types
Required skills
- BIM/Revit and AutoCAD proficiency
- Knowledge of UAE authority submission procedures
