Lead Network & Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a Lead Network & Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement and oversee secure OT network architectures for its global customers. The role involves ensuring compliance with standards such as CIS Benchmarks and IEC 62443, and bridging security practices between IT and OT environments.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret customer specifications and standards (CIS benchmark, IEC 62443) and prepare compliance documentation.
• Lead the design of overall OT network architecture, including segmentation between IT and OT and creation of system and logical architecture documents.
• Develop Bill of Materials, functional and detailed design specifications, and test procedures (FAT, SAT, method statements).
• Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and regular vulnerability reviews of OT environments.
• Collaborate with customer OT cybersecurity teams, DCS engineers, and third‑party vendors to enforce security policies and implement patches.
• Provide training and awareness sessions on cyber security best practices for customer personnel.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years of experience in IT/OT network configuration and cyber security implementation.
• Proven experience leading a team of network and system security engineers.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Required skills

• Network design and segmentation, L2/L3 switch configuration and hardening.
• ACL management, access control implementation for DCS environments.
• Familiarity with standards: IEC 62443, NERC CIP, CIS Benchmarks.
• Product knowledge (preferred): Cisco, Nozomi, Palo Alto, VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V, WSUS, NMS (What’s Up Gold), MacAfee AV, Veritas NetBackup, Acronis, Veeam.
• Patch management, backup & recovery design, VM HA clustering.
