Lead Onshore Pipeline Engineer

About the role

KBR is seeking a Lead Onshore Pipeline Engineer to drive pipeline engineering activities for oil & gas projects in Abu Dhabi. You will own the technical delivery from concept through FEED to detailed design, ensuring safety, quality and compliance with international codes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute pipeline engineering scope for Concept, FEED and Detail Engineering phases.
• Develop and review design strategies, standards and procedures.
• Perform and supervise pipeline calculations, stress analysis, buckling and buoyancy assessments, and hot‑tap studies.
• Design and optimise routing, crossings, support structures and valve station selection.
• Ensure compliance with ASME B31.4, B31.8, API RP 1101 and project specifications.
• Mentor multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• At least 15 years of experience in onshore pipeline engineering for oil & gas.
• Proven track record delivering Concept, FEED and detailed design packages.
• Strong knowledge of international pipeline codes and standards.
• Excellent technical leadership and communication skills.
