Lead Procurement Quality – Offshore (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Lead – Procurement Quality to oversee the procurement function for offshore oil & gas projects based in Abu Dhabi. The role will ensure that all purchasing activities meet industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements while delivering cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end‑to‑end procurement process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Develop and maintain procurement strategies and plans aligned with project timelines and requirements.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and secure cost‑effective procurement.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, and construction teams to align procurement requirements and communicate effectively.
• Review and approve procurement documentation, including RFQs, technical bids, and supplier quotations.
• Monitor procurement progress, resolve issues or delays in material deliveries, and ensure timely execution.
• Manage and track procurement budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC and other regulatory and contractual standards.
• Lead the procurement team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and staff.
• Participate in risk management activities and implement mitigation strategies for procurement risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 17 years of procurement experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
• At least 5 years of experience on offshore projects.
• Proven experience in a PMC role delivering successful procurement strategies for large‑scale projects.
• Previous experience with ADNOC projects is a strong advantage.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
