Lead Software Engineer / Senior Full Stack Engineer – Fintech

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Lead Software Engineer / Senior Full Stack Engineer to drive the design and delivery of cloud‑native, enterprise‑grade applications in the FinTech space. The role combines hands‑on development with technical leadership, requiring ownership of architecture, implementation, and mentorship of engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement scalable, secure, high‑performance enterprise solutions using microservices and distributed systems.
• Build modern front‑end applications with React.js, Next.js, TypeScript and related UI libraries.
• Develop robust back‑end services and APIs using Node.js, NestJS, C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Design authentication and authorization frameworks (JWT, OAuth2, RBAC, MFA).
• Create and optimise relational and NoSQL database solutions.
• Implement event‑driven and asynchronous processing architectures.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments and DevOps best practices on AWS.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Lead code reviews, enforce best practices and provide architectural governance.
• Mentor engineers, troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system reliability and security.

Required profile

• 10+ years of full‑stack development experience.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise‑grade applications in FinTech, banking or other highly regulated sectors.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Experience with multi‑tenant SaaS architectures is a plus.
