Lead Telecommunications and Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

Lead telecommunications and cybersecurity engineering activities for oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and review telecommunications and cybersecurity engineering deliverables for oil and gas projects.
• Ensure compliance with standards, project specifications, and applicable international standards.
• Review designs and specifications for communication networks, fiber optics, radio systems, CCTV, access control, and industrial cybersecurity systems.
• Coordinate with the client, EPC contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
• Incorporate cybersecurity requirements into engineering design and project implementation.
• Monitor technical quality and ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance during procurement, construction, commissioning, and project handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of engineering experience, including at least 8 years in the oil and gas industry.
• At least 5 years of experience in telecommunications and/or cybersecurity engineering.
• Strong PMC experience on major oil and gas capital projects, preferably with Saudi Aramco.
• Experience working with a PMC, PMT, Owner's team, or client-side organization is an advantage.
