Logistic Dispatcher

About the role

The Logistic Dispatcher coordinates the complete material dispatch cycle so that the right materials, documents, vehicles and delivery appointments are arranged accurately and on time. The role keeps communication clear between the Project, Store, Logistics, transport and receiving teams, and maintains dispatch trackers and KPI records.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the dispatch cycle from approved packing list receipt through final delivery.
• Verify material availability and readiness with the Store and Dispatch Area, including spools and supports.
• Prepare Material Information Sheets (MIS) and coordinate collection, staging, dimensions, weight and loading.
• Follow up on material shortages, incomplete items or release constraints.
• Arrange packing, baskets, labelling and material preparation.
• Book delivery appointments with ADNOC L&S, Freeport and receiving locations.
• Arrange vehicles, drivers and transport providers according to load, route, destination and schedule.
• Prepare and verify delivery notes, gate passes, packing lists, vehicle details and approvals.
• Monitor deliveries, update status and escalate delays or issues; obtain stamped delivery notes / proof of delivery.
• Maintain dispatch trackers, KPIs and records, support urgent or chopper deliveries, and comply with HSE, site, lifting and transport regulations.

Required profile

• High school certificate or diploma; logistics, supply chain, transport or related qualification preferred.
• At least 2 years' experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, warehouse operations, transport or material handling.
• Oil & Gas or industrial material dispatch experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ADNOC delivery zones, FreePorts and site-access requirements.

Required skills

• Delivery notes, packing lists, gate passes, POD and transport documentation.
• Good English and strong planning, coordination and time management.
• Ability to handle multiple deliveries and changing priorities under pressure.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• ERP, WMS or transport/dispatch system experience is an advantage.
