Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Gulf Orchid Perfume Manufacturing is looking for a detail‑oriented Logistics Coordinator to join its Operations team. The role supports the efficient movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods while ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments of raw materials, packaging, and finished products using ERP systems.
• Execute goods receipt, issue, stock transfers and delivery transactions in the ERP to maintain data integrity.
• Work with freight forwarders, shipping lines and transport providers to achieve timely, cost‑effective deliveries.
• Ensure proper storage, handling and tracking of perfumes, fragrance oils, alcohol‑based materials, glass bottles and other sensitive items.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts, reconcile variances and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels via ERP reports and coordinate material replenishment with Procurement.
• Manage returns, damaged and non‑conforming goods in collaboration with Warehouse and Quality teams.
• Liaise with Production, Sales, Procurement, Quality and Finance to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Coordinate customer delivery schedules and guarantee on‑time order fulfilment with complete documentation.
• Support compliance with UAE import/export procedures, customs regulations and internal audit requirements.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of logistics or supply‑chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems for inventory, logistics and warehouse transactions.
• Preferably background in perfume, cosmetics, fragrance or FMCG manufacturing.
• Knowledge of UAE import/export procedures and customs regulations.
• Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Immediate availability (on visit visa or cancelled visa).
