Logistics Incharge - Glass

About the role

Careers International is hiring a Logistics Incharge for a glass manufacturing company in Dubai. The role holder manages all logistics activities, including planning, supplier negotiation and documentation, and keeps the supply chain running smoothly between production, purchasing and stores.

Key responsibilities

• Manage logistics operations and oversee transportation and fleet coordination
• Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers and build vendor relationships; evaluate vendors on quality, timeline, price and process
• Schedule deliveries, monitor shipments, costs, timelines and productivity, and ensure department KPIs are met
• Keep track of cost, productivity, data accuracy and deadlines for department deliverables
• Analyse and optimise logistical procedures and prepare accurate reports for upper management

Required profile

• At least 4-5 years of experience in the manufacturing and construction industries
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics or business management preferred

Required skills

• Experience using procurement software and databases preferred
• Excellent negotiation and effective communication skills
