Logistics Officer – Supply Chain Coordination

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized Logistics Officer to manage daily logistics and supply chain activities. The successful candidate will ensure smooth transportation, accurate inventory control, and timely delivery of goods while maintaining comprehensive documentation and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to guarantee efficient delivery.
• Communicate with suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams regarding schedules and logistics.
• Prepare and manage shipping documents, invoices, delivery notes, and customs paperwork.
• Monitor inventory levels and support warehouse operations as needed.
• Track shipments, troubleshoot delivery issues, and resolve transportation problems promptly.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and local logistics and customs regulations.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and update ERP or inventory systems.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives to optimise operations and reduce costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations is preferred.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes and shipment coordination.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with logistics or ERP software.
