Logistics Specialist - Supply Chain (Merchandise)

About the role

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operational supply chain and logistics of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle, maximizing process efficiency and productivity. The role covers a seamless, time and cost-efficient supply chain that meets business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end supply chain activities for the assigned merchandise area
• Manage and maintain the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process according to the ETE process and SLAs approved by the compliance team
• Register products with the relevant regulatory bodies and keep all certificates up to date
• Validate service provider invoices against agreed terms and submit billing invoices in the relevant systems so they are processed by FSSC on time
• Monitor daily replenishments to stores, launch deliveries, store returns and orders for merchandise and non-merchandise items, based on VM and marketing requirements
• Provide timely information to stakeholders and maintain strong professional relationships internally and externally

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics or a related field
• 1 to 5 years of experience in supply chain or logistics
• Exposure to a high-volume, multi-site retail organization is an advantage

Required skills

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Effective communication skills
• Detail-oriented approach
