About the role
Beaconhouse Private School in Al Ain is seeking a qualified male teacher to deliver the IGCSE English curriculum on a full‑time basis. The role involves planning, teaching, and assessing students to prepare them for the IGCSE examinations.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with the IGCSE English syllabus.
- Teach reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, incorporating strategies for comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and communication.
- Prepare students for the IGCSE exam format, providing targeted practice for reading, writing, and speaking components.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment, manage behaviour, promote inclusivity, and support individual learning needs.
- Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education majoring in English Language.
- Valid MOE Teaching License (if available).
- Preferably 2 years of teaching experience in the UAE.
- Male candidate as specified by the school.
