Manager – SaaS FinOps & Commercial Intelligence

About the role

Core42, an AI-powered cloud and digital infrastructure provider, is looking for a Manager to lead the transformation of commercial and financial operations across its AI and SaaS platforms. The role builds a scalable SaaS FinOps framework and product that gives customers visibility into consumption, costs, revenue, profitability, capacity utilisation and optimisation opportunities, moving fragmented manual processes into an integrated, automated, data-driven operating model.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SaaS FinOps product strategy, roadmap and delivery, and set up cost allocation, utilisation, forecasting, optimisation and financial performance capabilities, with KPIs, dashboards and insights.
• Manage and automate commercial operations such as onboarding, subscriptions, pricing, billing and renewals; govern Azure Marketplace offers (PAYG, fixed-price, commitment-based).
• Build a centralised customer and commercial master across Marketplace, Compass and SaaS platforms, with accurate mapping and reconciliation.
• Set up automated daily reconciliation, financial controls, exception management and revenue assurance, and standardise month-end reporting and audits.
• Analyse AI model consumption, TPM/PTU utilisation and demand, and develop capacity forecasts and recommendations.
• Turn manual reporting into automated operations, build data pipelines and Power BI dashboards with Engineering, and implement automated KPIs, alerts and executive reporting.

Required profile

• 8-12+ years of experience in SaaS commercial operations, FinOps, cloud financial management, product management, revenue operations or related fields.
• Strong understanding of SaaS subscription and consumption-based models, pricing, billing and revenue reconciliation.
• Proven understanding of FinOps practices (cost allocation, unit economics, profitability, forecasting, optimisation).
• Ability to work across Finance, Commercial Operations, Sales, Product and Engineering.

Required skills

• Azure Marketplace, Microsoft Partner Center or similar cloud marketplaces.
• SQL, Power BI and data modelling; working knowledge of Python, ETL/ELT, APIs and data integration.
• Preferred: AI/LLM platforms, token-based pricing, TPM/PTU, FinOps Foundation certification, and familiarity with Azure, Fabric, Azure Data Factory, PostgreSQL and Power BI.
