Marketing Manager

About the role

Wahed is looking for a hands‑on Marketing Manager to plan, execute and optimise marketing activities across the full customer journey. The role spans performance marketing, social media, content creation, email marketing, referral programmes, partnerships, events and communications, supporting the company’s mission to build an ethical, interest‑free financial system.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated marketing plans aligned with commercial objectives, brand positioning and customer needs.
• Manage the marketing calendar for campaigns, product launches, partnerships, events and communications.
• Plan, launch and optimise paid digital campaigns across search and social media channels.
• Oversee marketing budgets and track performance against acquisition cost, conversion, ROI and other KPIs.
• Maintain Wahed’s social media presence and create engaging content.
• Produce marketing assets including copy, graphics, short‑form videos, articles and campaign materials.
• Design and run email, push notification and lifecycle campaigns for onboarding, engagement, retention and reactivation.
• Develop referral and loyalty initiatives to drive customer advocacy.
• Identify and manage relationships with influencers, affiliates, community partners and agencies.
• Plan and execute webinars, seminars, conferences, community activations and other events.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities.
• Comfortable creating content and managing multi‑channel campaigns.
• Experience handling budgets and analysing data to improve performance.
• Ability to work with external partners and stakeholders.
