Marketing Manager - Sports

About the role

A sports business in Dubai is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead its brand and trade marketing strategy and drive growth across apparel, equipment, fitness and accessories. The position is full time and based in Dubai, and the candidate must be located in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute 360-degree marketing plans covering brand campaigns, retail activations, digital and partnerships
• Drive category growth beyond footwear, across apparel, equipment and performance sports
• Manage sponsorships, athlete and club partnerships and sports events
• Lead go-to-market for new product launches with buying and merchandising
• Oversee digital marketing, social media, CRM and e-commerce performance
• Manage the marketing budget, agencies and ROI measurement
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and consumer insights in the sports industry

Required profile

• 6-8+ years in marketing, with a solid background in the sports industry across multi-sport categories
• Experience in sports retail, sports brands, fitness or sporting goods is required; candidates with only footwear experience will not be considered
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business; MBA a plus

Required skills

• Digital, brand and activation experience in the GCC is preferred
• Experience with digital marketing, social media, CRM and e-commerce
