Material QC Inspector

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Material QC Inspector to support major Oil & Gas EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves inspecting, verifying, monitoring, documenting, and controlling materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct receiving, storage, preservation, and pre‑installation inspections of materials and equipment.
• Verify materials against drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and submittals, confirming type, grade, dimensions, serial numbers, and batch numbers.
• Review and validate material test certificates, certificates of compliance, calibration certificates, and test reports.
• Maintain material traceability records and ensure complete certification documentation before acceptance.
• Monitor warehouse conditions, segregation, stacking, and environmental controls for preserved items.
• Raise and manage Material Inspection Reports, Receiving Inspection Reports, Quality Surveillance Reports, and Non‑Conformance Reports.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, engineering, construction, and QA/QC teams to ensure timely documentation.
• Support client, third‑party, consultant, and vendor inspections and participate in quality audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years QA/QC inspection experience, including at least 3 years material inspection on Oil & Gas, Power, Infrastructure, Marine, Industrial or EPC projects.
• Experience on GCC/Middle‑East projects and working with multinational clients and EPC contractors.
• Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Engineering or a related technical discipline.
