Mechanical Engineer – Electromechanical Projects

About the role

Careers International is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in the electromechanical industry, based in Dubai. The engineer must have hands-on experience with mechanical systems on electromechanical projects and at site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, testing and maintenance of mechanical systems
• Work on electromechanical equipment such as HVAC, pumps and piping systems
• Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
• Support troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities
• Coordinate with electrical and site teams for smooth project execution
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and project requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Mandatory 1-2 years of experience in the electromechanical industry
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment and site execution
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred skills

• Site experience in MEP or electromechanical projects
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing or firefighting systems
• Familiarity with industry safety standards
