MEP Engineer - High-Rise Construction

About the role

Careers International is looking for a skilled MEP Engineer to manage all mechanical, electrical and plumbing works for high-rise building construction in Dubai. The successful candidate will lead MEP design reviews, coordinate installations and make sure systems are completed on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage MEP works on high-rise building sites.
• Prepare MEP shop drawings, load schedules and equipment layouts.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects and the main contractor.
• Ensure work follows the design, technical specifications and safety standards, and review and approve materials and equipment for compliance.
• Oversee MEP subcontractors and attend site meetings to resolve MEP issues.
• Prepare progress reports and update project management teams.
• Ensure integration between civil, MEP and finishing activities, and conduct site inspections and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Implement value engineering where applicable and ensure energy-efficient and sustainable MEP solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP for high-rise construction in the UAE.
• Knowledge of UAE codes (DEWA, ADDC, DCD, etc.).
• Valid UAE driving licence required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office.
• Project management software.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
