MEP Engineer

About the role

A qualified and experienced MEP Engineer with hands-on experience in building construction, villa projects and MEP systems is sought to supervise and coordinate mechanical, electrical and plumbing works on buildings, villas and other construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate MEP works for buildings, villas and other construction projects.
• Review MEP drawings, layouts, BOQs, technical specifications and shop drawings.
• Monitor the installation, testing and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage and firefighting systems.
• Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot technical issues and ensure quality workmanship.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, project teams and authorities for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, project specifications and health and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of MEP works.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant UAE experience, particularly in building construction and villa projects.
• Applicable authority registration, approval and competency requirements for the role in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.
• Good knowledge of MEP systems, technical drawings, UAE construction standards and site coordination.
• Strong technical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A valid UAE driving licence is an added advantage.
