Multi Technician

About the role

FIVE Hotels and Resorts is hiring a Multi Technician in Dubai. The role covers general maintenance and multi-skilled engineering works across guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas and other hotel facilities. Candidates must have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or healthcare environment in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas and other hotel facilities.
• Carry out minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, tiling and painting works as required.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment and building systems to identify and prevent potential breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot and fix technical faults quickly, keeping hotel operations running smoothly.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns, finishing tasks within set timelines.
• Work safely, following safe work practices and procedures.
• Complete tasks assigned by the Duty Engineer and report recurring issues to the Engineering Team.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments and take part in monthly departmental meetings.

Required profile

• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or healthcare environment in the UAE.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of general maintenance and multi-skilled engineering works.
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative to resolve issues.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on attitude.

What we offer

• A fixed monthly salary of AED 1,400.
