Occupational Therapist

About the role

Mediclinic Al Madar in Abu Dhabi is recruiting one Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to adult and paediatric patients, working with the multidisciplinary team according to company standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver professional occupational therapy services to patients, including injury management and rehabilitation and functional rehabilitation programmes
• Carry out activities of daily living (ADL), workplace, ergonomic, risk and functional assessments
• Educate patients, caregivers and family members on occupational health and safety
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient treatment
• Provide general administrative support for reports and other functions needed for department operations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution; an MSc in Occupational Therapy is an advantage
• At least 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist after qualification
• Preference given to designated groups under the UAE Emiratization program

• Facilitation of learning and development interventions
• Hand therapy practices and management of occupational injuries
• Manual handling and general ergonomic principles
• Time management, verbal and written communication in English
