Offshore Installation Manager (PMC)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager with a proven track record in overseeing and coordinating construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards for a high‑profile client.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all offshore installation and construction activities, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Act as the primary offshore focal point between the client, PMC team, and EPC contractors.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE standards, policies, and procedures, promoting a strong safety culture.
• Supervise contractor performance and verify work against approved procedures, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate offshore installation campaigns, including heavy lifts, hook‑up, commissioning support, and marine operations.
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, lifting plans, and installation procedures.
• Manage interface between offshore and onshore teams (engineering, procurement, commissioning).
• Identify risks, implement mitigation measures, and provide regular progress reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Marine, Civil engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in offshore oil & gas projects, with at least 5 years in a senior offshore leadership role such as OIM or Construction Manager.
• Proven experience in a PMC environment on large‑scale offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of international codes, standards and HSE regulations applicable to offshore operations.
• Experience managing EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• BOSIET certification.
• H2S certification.
• Valid offshore medical certification.
• Expertise in offshore installation methodologies and marine operations.
• Familiarity with offshore construction techniques and safety procedures.
