Outlet Supervisor - Food & Beverage

About the role

Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is looking for an Outlet Supervisor, a highly visible guest service position in its food and beverage outlets. The role promotes and ensures guest satisfaction by developing and maintaining a strong team environment, with emphasis on team member satisfaction and prompt, courteous service. It is a full-time position based in Ras Al Khaimah.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and ensure guest satisfaction through prompt, courteous delivery of all restaurant and room service orders, keeping guest areas clean and maintaining a positive image.
• Supervise the service of food and beverage, assist with serving and seating, communicate with the kitchen and speak to all guests during the shift.
• Maintain a motivated and well-trained staff, train new and current team members, and run an effective training program.
• Open and close shifts according to the manager's checklist, and handle daily team member relations such as scheduling and time adjustments.
• Execute revenue and check control procedures, manage inventory and stock, and handle cash and POS transactions.
• Keep the workplace safe and sanitary, enforce minor hotel service standards and uniform standards, and manage repairs and maintenance through work orders and inspections.
• Be on the floor during the entire meal period, solve problems such as call-outs and last-minute bookings, and rotate stations fairly.
• Implement incentive programs and new ideas, and apply fair and consistent counseling and disciplinary procedures in line with the Minor Hotels Guarantee of Fair Treatment Policy.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and team supervision skills, with excellent customer service and guest relations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact professionally with guests and build trust with team members.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, and understanding of food safety, hygiene and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational and time management skills, and the ability to supervise daily outlet operations.
