People & Culture Manager

About the role

The People & Culture Manager designs, drives and enables people practices that support the company's growth, performance and culture across retail stores, factory and head office. It is a hands-on, execution-first role in a fast-growing, multi-site environment, acting as a trusted partner to department heads on organizational design, performance management, talent decisions and employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with department heads on organizational design, workforce planning and people priorities, and coach managers on performance, engagement and team dynamics
• Lead end-to-end recruitment for corporate, leadership and key operational roles, and oversee high-volume retail hiring
• Design onboarding, performance management and learning and development frameworks, and coach managers on feedback and underperformance
• Drive compensation and benefits projects, including job grading, salary structures and benefits frameworks
• Own employee engagement, retention, internal communication and employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance and exit interview processes
• Oversee people operations such as payroll, contracts, visas, insurance and leave, and set HR processes and controls for the HR team
• Track people metrics and turn insights into recommendations for leadership

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• 8-12 years of experience in People & Culture / HR roles, preferably in retail, consumer, beauty or other operationally complex environments
• Demonstrated experience in fast-growing or scale-up organizations
• Strong knowledge of labor law, employee relations and people governance in the GCC; Arabic strongly preferred
