Physiatry Specialist (PM&R) – Female Only – Al Ain

About the role

We are urgently seeking a qualified and compassionate Physiatry Specialist (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) to provide specialist medical care within a home rehabilitation setting in Al Ain, UAE. The role involves assessing patients with physical, musculoskeletal, and neurological disabilities, developing individualized rehabilitation plans, and coordinating multidisciplinary care to enhance functional independence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical and functional assessments of rehabilitation patients.
• Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal, neurological, and physical rehabilitation conditions.
• Develop and adjust individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans.
• Provide medical oversight for patients receiving home‑based rehabilitation services.
• Coordinate care with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families about rehabilitation plans and recovery expectations.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with DOH regulations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical reviews.

Required profile

• MBBS degree with recognized specialization in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
• Active DOH license (or eligibility) for Abu Dhabi.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in rehabilitation and physical medicine settings.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities with a compassionate approach to patient care.
