Plumbing Supervisor

About the role

Careers International is hiring a Plumbing Supervisor in Dubai within civil construction. The supervisor coordinates plumbing installations, maintenance and repair work on assigned projects, leads a team of plumbers, apprentices and assistants, and ensures work meets quality, safety and code requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate plumbing installations, maintenance and repairs; develop work schedules, assign tasks and oversee daily activities
• Inspect sites regularly for compliance with safety standards, quality standards and local plumbing codes
• Lead, train and mentor plumbers, apprentices and assistants, and guide them on complex tasks and troubleshooting
• Ensure team members follow safety protocols and maintain a productive work environment
• Check completed work against company standards and local building codes, and resolve workmanship, material or method issues
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with building, health and safety regulations
• Order and manage materials, tools and equipment, track inventory and reduce waste
• Maintain records of progress, materials used, labour hours and incidents, and prepare regular reports on project status and team performance
• Coordinate with other trade supervisors and contractors and keep the Project Manager informed

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in plumbing preferred
• Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
• Valid plumbing licence; additional safety and project management certifications are advantageous

• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes and regulations
