PMC Electrical Construction Engineer

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMC Electrical Construction Engineer to lead on‑site electrical construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards for a high‑profile client.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise EPC contractor electrical construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, method statements and IFC deliverables.
• Champion ADNOC’s “Zero Incident” safety culture, enforce HSE policies, conduct site safety audits and intervene on unsafe acts.
• Ensure construction works meet ADNOC standards, project specifications and international codes; review inspections, tests and certifications.
• Act as the primary PMC interface with EPC contractors, reviewing progress, productivity and manpower reports and supporting commercial teams on variations and claims.
• Track construction progress against baseline schedules, identify critical path issues and coordinate recovery plans.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commissioning and operations teams to resolve technical queries and manage interfaces between disciplines.
• Support pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities, verify mechanical completion and oversee system handover and punch‑list clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas projects, with at least 5 years in a PMC role on ADNOC or similar Middle‑East projects.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar senior position.
• Strong background in large‑scale EPC/EPCM projects (CAPEX > USD 500M) and familiarity with ADNOC standards and specifications.
• Eligibility to obtain a CICPA and a UAE work visa.
