PMC Hook-up and Brownfield Manager

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hook‑Up and Brownfield Manager to lead construction projects for a high‑profile client, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all hook‑up, brownfield modification, tie‑in and pre‑commissioning activities in line with the approved scope, schedule and budget.
• Act as the primary PMC liaison between client, EPC contractor, operations, engineering and commissioning teams.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, live‑plant safety, SIMOPS, isolation management and permit‑to‑work procedures.
• Supervise contractor performance, reviewing method statements, lifting plans and safety analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of oil‑and‑gas project experience, with at least 8 years in hook‑up, brownfield or commissioning roles.
• Proven track record managing brownfield modifications and tie‑ins on live operating facilities.

Required skills

• Permit‑to‑work and lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO) systems.
• SIMOPS coordination and isolation management.
• Shutdown and turnaround planning.
• Tie‑in execution, pre‑commissioning and commissioning.
• Knowledge of international codes, standards and HSE requirements for oil‑and‑gas construction.
