Pool Attendant - Pool Services

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island, set to open in 2027 as the first integrated resort in the UAE, is looking for a Pool Attendant to join its Pool Services team. The role delivers a polished, personalized poolside experience in line with Wynn luxury hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, assist with seating, lounger and umbrella positioning and special requests, and provide towels, water and other amenities promptly.
• Anticipate guest needs, resolve minor issues professionally and support VIP guests and special arrangements.
• Set up, arrange and maintain loungers, umbrellas, towels and daybeds, and keep the pool deck clean, organized and safe.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs, reset furniture between guests and report maintenance issues and cleanliness concerns.
• Maintain inventory of towels and amenities, complete checklists and track sheets, and use radios and communication tools effectively.
• Assist with VIP arrivals, special events, peak periods and daily opening, operating and closing procedures.
• Promote pool, cabana, daybed, food and beverage and resort offerings, collaborate with Food and Beverage and other teams, and support revenue initiatives.
• Work closely with lifeguards, keep guest information confidential, and take part in departmental meetings, briefings and training.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality, recreation, pool operations or guest service certification preferred.
• Lifeguard, pool safety or first aid certification is an advantage.
• At least one year of experience in hospitality, guest services, pool operations, beach clubs, recreation or luxury resort operations preferred.
• Previous luxury hotel, resort, beach club, pool or recreation guest-facing experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays and evenings, and to serve a diverse international clientele.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of pool, seating or guest management systems preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.
