Procurement Officer

About the role

Arar Infra Contracting is looking for an experienced Procurement Officer to lead sourcing and purchasing activities for infrastructure and construction projects across the UAE. The role focuses on material acquisition, supplier evaluation, price negotiation and supply‑chain logistics to support active project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement workflows for civil infrastructure and construction materials.
• Source, evaluate and pre‑qualify vendors, sub‑contractors and material suppliers throughout the UAE.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing and delivery schedules to maximise cost savings.
• Generate purchase orders, track logistics and verify site delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with project management and site teams to reconcile material requisitions and control costs.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of direct procurement experience in the UAE construction and infrastructure sector.
• Strong commercial acumen with a deep familiarity of the UAE construction market.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and control procurement budgets.
