Procurement Quality Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Quality Specialist ensures that all materials, equipment, and packages procured for ADNOC Offshore projects meet project specifications, ADNOC standards, international codes, and contractual quality requirements. Working within the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team, the role provides quality surveillance throughout the procurement lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement quality surveillance strategies aligned with project and ADNOC requirements.
• Monitor supplier quality performance, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement.
• Review purchase requisitions, specifications, and vendor quality plans to ensure clear inspection and testing requirements.
• Coordinate and witness critical manufacturing activities such as material identification, welding, heat treatment, NDT, hydrostatic testing, functional testing, and FAT.
• Review and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), third‑party inspection activities, and release documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement quality management for offshore or oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards, international codes, and ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Ability to conduct supplier pre‑qualification, technical capability assessments, and corrective‑preventive actions (CAPA).
• Familiarity with inspection documentation, preservation, packing, and hand‑over processes.
